You don’t have to go to Africa to be a hero
Hold a concert.

right there where you live
care for those around you.
You don’t have to be in the spotlight
on TV
to shine.
Make a list of words to describe someone
a person you might adore.
Decide that person can be you.
Don’t be a shadow
you cannot shine in the darkness.
Be a hero
stand up for what is right
right there where you are!
Don’t be a shadow
Don’t be an eclipse
Be a full moon
be the light at night
be sublime.
Be MORE!
Be BETTER…
than you ever imagined you could be.
Why not?
Why not decide that you can make a difference?
Can I make a list of words to describe someone
and become them?
I ask me that right now as well.
Why not?
Why not step out and be excellence?
Not for fame
not for stars in Hollywood
Shine for the children around you!
Be an example.
It will be the most difficult
yet easiest path you’ll ever follow.
Embrace yourself in that light
